Focusing on growth and mentorship of lower level employees. Transparency and equity regarding compensation.

It seems like they are trying to fix some of their issues with diversity and equity.
What are some of the best things about your team?
A lot of the lower level employees are great. Natural and cultural resources attract some interesting people that can be really enjoyable to work with.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I see a lot of new hires brought in at higher pay levels than experienced employees even though they lack advanced degrees and experience. Promotions seem arbitrary, not related to performance reviews, work, etc. Work on pay transparency and equity.
