I started at SWCA nearly 10 years ago, when leadership was fragmented and the notion was that we were always reorganizing to be bought out. Now, I can't say enough about our culture has improved and "employees first." We have more improvement with pay rates, but we will get there hopefully

Aetna health insurance is much better than Cigna.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working on challenging projects that require unique solutions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our DEI efforts and our ERGs are the most positive aspect about our culture.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We support each other and genuinely want to see our team succeed. For the most part, we value one another and our contributions in working together.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We are not afraid to stay true to who we are as a company in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion - even in the face of uncertainty and adversity.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership sees the bigger picture and has great forward-thinking. They put employee ownership first and bring consistency across regions, which we haven't had in the past (I've been here 10 years).
What makes you most happy at work?
The ERG and relationships I am forming, as well as the technical work groups. Individually, I also am happy when I provide high quality, accurate work that gets the team recognized by a client on a project.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am likely the lowest paid team lead in the company. There's such a disconnect between employees holding similar roles and doing the same job. Unless you complain about not being paid what your coworkers are, nothing happens.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our mission and North Star keep us focused, but our HR team and the ERGs we have are what keep me at SWCA. I can easily leave and get paid much higher, but the culture keeps me where I am for now.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We understand that we make a difference as an individual for the greater good of the company as employee owners. I think now more than ever we have that in mind when we do our jobs. Interesting that I thought of my office when asked about "my team" and not my CR team.
