The ability to work remotely, but availability of a local team member to connect with as necessary. Also, longevity of some relationships.

Most of the team has worked together for multiple years and new members have dove in to help the team and our current workload.

Being new to a corporation with leadership team, I don't have much to compare to. However, my interactions have been positive where they are transparent in conveying their goals for the team and how I can help reach them. Also, I able to share my goals and obsticals.
