I like the ELT: I only wish they would focus on us being a US-based HEALTHCARE SOFTWARE company. We seem to do what the "IT" space does; when we need to remember that we are a HEALTHCARE SOFTWARE company. I do NOT have anything nice to say about my manager. She is a "Boss." She is NOT a LEADER!

There is no base salary for the various roles, and the uniform merit distribution, regardless of designation, leads to disparities and limited opportunities for financial growth.

Taking constructive criticism. Employees only have text-based mediums to engage in the conversation during Town Halls, and too often I see innocuous comments taken to be adversarial. This usually ends with BJ getting defensive and making vague threats or ultimatums like "if you don't like it...."

I have too many people setting deadlines for me, and while they are perfectly capable of looking for themselves, they try to impose conflicting deadlines on me. My raise this year was pathetic for a Rockstar employee.

Invest in people who work in the time zones that your clients are in, not halfway around the world. We sell our products to US companies working US business hours, yet have no resources to deal with issues raised during those hours because all hiring is offshore.

I believe the pay scale is high and benefits are good. Opportunities for advancement are not.

Our team faces high pressure as resignations haven’t been backfilled while workload stays the same. Long-serving employees, despite years of commitment, see limited pay growth compared to new hire

"Merit" increases don't keep up with the rate of inflation. Rolling my bonus into the base salary put me closer to market value, but it's still on the low end. I like the product I work on and the team I work with, but it's hard to ignore that my paycheck doesn't go as far as it used to

Health benefits should cover the drugs I need. Raises should be more in line with performance. Non-team managers should be more respectful of my schedule and time.

Started at underpaid salary (during Covid). Took too long for company to bump up salary despite Excellent Work and status of efforts being done. (took years!) Now that my salary increased somewhat, only seeing marginal increases, so remain underpaid with really no hope in sight of ever getting

We just work well together! We are able to think about all the benefits and pitfalls of our product and we can speak our minds on what needs to be done to serve our customers! We run efficiently (Thanks to our awesome DEV LEAD) and we are able to hand off tasks in a streamlined fashion.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Lack of interaction between US based resources and India based resources because of time differences. Lack of training from the company means that newer resources are heavily dependent on longer term employees for training, driving up the stress level for already overworked and burnt out resources.

India resources expect every aspect of every project to be fully detailed out for them. They don't attempt to learn for themselves.

I was not interviewed at symplr. I came to symplr as part of an acquisition 3 or 4 companies ago (many acquisitions).

If employees are consistently going beyond working hours and sacrificing their work-life balance, it is only fair that they receive appropriate recognition, timely promotions, and competitive pay in return.

There seems to be little in the area of career advancement and the company defining a career path for many positions. If an associate does an exceptional job in their area they are more likely to be kept in that role than looked at for advancement.
