While I enjoy working here: I cannot recommend symplr as a place to work. We only hire OFFSHORE positions. The ELT thinks UNSKILLED OFFSHORE heads are equal to a SKILLED, TRAINED heads (with decades of experience). The Midas Product is far too complex and our customers want a US based response team!
I stay here because I believe in our product and care about the customers we serve. I wish Leadership understood our product and wish Leadership understood the value of US-based employees they have RIFfed in lieu of "cheaper" offshoring. Skilled RIFfed had NECESSARY relationships with our customers
The ELT is very transparent and approachable!
Great Teamwork - we trust each other!
Generally we have good teamwork
awesome collaboration and they understand our product and what our customers want :)
UNDERSTANDING OUR PRODUCTS!!!! Bring back the culture we had like 4 years ago.
I like that symplr matched our prior PTO when we got acquired. Vacation time is a high-satisfier for me.
The core team I work with. They are awesome. I raved about them already in a prior screen :)
I use my Vacation. I treat it like I did when we were on an accrual-based system, therefore I am still getting the PTO I earned.
I like it when we solve customer issues and I like it when we deliver something that the customer have been asking for (especially when they've asked for something for years!) I also like it when we are able to deliver something that makes the customer's work day go more efficiently!
We just work well together! We are able to think about all the benefits and pitfalls of our product and we can speak our minds on what needs to be done to serve our customers! We run efficiently (Thanks to our awesome DEV LEAD) and we are able to hand off tasks in a streamlined fashion.
I like the ELT: I only wish they would focus on us being a US-based HEALTHCARE SOFTWARE company. We seem to do what the "IT" space does; when we need to remember that we are a HEALTHCARE SOFTWARE company. I do NOT have anything nice to say about my manager. She is a "Boss." She is NOT a LEADER!
