That despite what I have shared about been undervalued previously they are extremely passionate hard working individuals that I fear we will lose to competitors.
I think it is positive that we try to improve the employee experience and try to provide safe spaces for DE&I- however sometimes trying is not enough and its time to see action.
I oversee an entire department but am often overlooked. Every time I open social media I see leadership posting about their perks- shoes, gift cards, books etc. but myself or my team is never included. I get no bonus, my pay 60% below market value, and the expectations for my role are unrealistic.
