With the freedom to work independently, I own pacing in the degree of my learning and adaption.
Some act as true leaders; while others act just a boss with no true intension of helping either the company or the direct report to really succeed.
With this time and age retention is a struggle and yet people with potential and tenure are brushed aside and under compensated. Promotion does not fit the monetary expectation compared to the bulk of workload.
