As a lead i try to stress the importance of communication amongst my self other leads and supervisors but ive found with in the department everyine is more focused on "Their area" instead of working as a unit and understanding that all areas can be effected for good or bad by just "their area"

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Insurance and short term disability

The insurance is as good as most companies and each year new benefits are being added.

Paid weekly. Overtime after 8 hours a day, do not have to work 40 to get it.

Way cheaper insurance then my previous employment. Safety bonus is fair, also Tyson gives generous raises to its drivers.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Health benefits are too expensive and out of pocket at $10,000. Not sure if this is an industry standard but ouch!

As a lead i am to come in early and leave later. But at the end of the week im made to come in late or leave early.so my hours arent fair Ive been dedicated to the job and have even applied for supervisor SEVERAL times and was told i wasnt as qualified as other canidates that i KNOW werent qualified

They don’t care about there employees only share holders.

Over a 4 year period employees at P-146 were given $1 raise. No appreciation for above and beyond efforts. For Christmas holiday gratitude shown by giving us 2 whole birds. The turnover rate is horrible due to some members of mgmt and low pay.

Was supposed to get raise a month ago. HR just plays blame game every time I ask about it. Just pay me what I've earned!
