I see a lot of negativity about Walmart especially about raises. I work overnights and it's a very physically demanding job I feel a lot of people come in and don't realize it but it's really good pay for the area as well. I do see a lack of training and respectful interactions. But I got a raise

What makes you most happy at work?
Be able to make others laugh have a good time(even if I've had a bad day) and work hard. I weirdly enjoy physical labor the more I sweat the happier I am!
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I can contribute up to 50% of my pay to the company 401k AND after a year Walmart contributes 6%....dollar for dollar and no vesting period! This is one of the BEST 401k plans I have ever com across.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our current main supervisor, that I hope stays as long as I do, treats everyone the same no favorites and works just as hard as everyone else. She helps with requests and pays attention to coworker interactions and how leads treat everyone as well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Well I would like to think I've contributed to it being more positive in my time there... there is a lot of negativity, whining about workload/expectations, and people not doing the job right. But it's changing and they're focusing on bringing more positive people or at least respectful people.
