What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything, I haven't gotten a raise even though I've worked there a little over a year, the store is barely holding on, really.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay increase. Target pays $15/hr when you step in the door. I started there ~13 months ago and I make $12/hr and my only pay increase was when the whole company increased the minimum pay from $11 to $12.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Honestly there was barely an interview. I applied online, got a phone call to "interview" me and was told when I could come in for orientation. Not really much there to "like" but I will give them that it is very quick and easy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is amazing, the best thing about my job. They're fun, as professional as is needed, and there generally isn't any issues between employees. I genuinely love my team and they're the reason I'd really hate to start applying for other jobs even though I need more money.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really like that there is so much diversity in their employment. Everyone feels unique, and they seem to hire people from all walks of life. This means I can find my niche group of similar people as well as regularly interacting with people I otherwise never would have.
