The People Lead was likeable and friendly.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Positive reinforcement of associates. Kindness goes a long ways. Always talking down to people and only talking to them if something has gone wrong, will only create spite.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Competitive pay and a pay that reflects the amount of labor required of the job. Walmart is the most understaffed and least paid of all retail stores in my area, while management gets what the associates would have gotten if they were paid fairly.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There are not enough employees available to get all daily tasks needed done in the time they are expected done, therefor as a result there is no quality interaction time available to spend with a customer. We're excessively rushed and never have a moment to really help a customer.
