Lack of communication with team leads, causes chaos for those of us that come in to do our job. we often feel anxious about dealing with personality clashes and it takes our focus away from our job because we get caught in the storm. It's unprofessional.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
that as employees, we encourage each other. we have once decent team lead who tries to work things out for, so things will run smoothly. but when she leaves, it's out the window. She and our coach are the only ones who listen respectfully.
What are some of the best things about your team?
we try to watch out for each other when it comes to breaks and lunches, since we are often forgotten. We try to encourage each other and make the best of it. but many of us have other opportunities and at the moment are looking for an escape.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued due to the fact they don't place people in areas most suited for them based on past work history. Or when we have a completely legitimate concern, it's brushed to the side. It frustrating & insulting. on the FL. we deal with the people and suggest ways to make things run better.
What makes you most happy at work?
when working with people who that are able to boost each other's strengths, and who watch out for you as you do them, as far as making sure they get the breaks, lunch and are able to leave at the right time. And most of them are lovely people who I want to see excel and feel rewarded and noticed.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
making Walmart a place people aren't always trying to look for a way out. The training for new people is subpar and your rarely feel supported. The only feedback you get is negative. When team leads are in a bad mood, it causes us all to be thrown off our game. It's like a twisted version of H.S
