Picking people for jobs they’re qualified for. When my department came open for a new department manager. I was told to leave it to the young people. I’ve now trained 5 dept mgrs in my dept.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People coming in and being there less time than I have making a few cent less than I am. New hires/employees there a year or two are making $11. One making $11.50. I’ve been there 12 years and on my hire date will be making $11.34. This is the second time I’ve worked for WalMart.
