The most positive thing about my company is interacting with my coworkers. They're the only part of my job that I look forward to.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Not taking longer time on breaks/lunches, it puts everyone else behind when someone goes over their break time. Learn to check out faster and the lines won't be so bad when we're short handed.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Everything! Always short staffed, equipment doesn't work half of the time, the store is always out of stock, a lot of customers get unhappy with how long the lines are most of the time.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Scheduling more cashiers to work so customers don't have to wait forever to check out. Getting equipment fixed. Raise the wages of employees, or at the very least give more hours and make more employees full time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've been working for almost 3 years and have not been offered a full time position. I have been a backup customer service manager for almost 2 years, but have not been offered a position as csm.
