What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication, patience, understanding, empathy, and solidarity.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Do away with meaningless, repetitive questions. The focus should be on the future employee and the manager learning about each other and the job, and not rhetorical questions.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

The ones that I directly worked with became solid friends and always had my back as I had theirs. Cannot say the same for all employees in other departments as we would often get in trouble for communicating on the job.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

At first experience, compensation seems fair. However, once management starts using you to the extent and beyond your capabilities, it's very evident the job does not pay enough. Walmart has a tendency to understaff and overwork, to the point of frustration and exertion.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Not being appreciated, being overworked, and management gets abusive. Customers get abusive and there are no repercussions for the customer or defense for the employee. Understaffing is also a huge issue. It causes employees to be forced to stay until the excessive workload is finished.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

The focus needs to be equally on employees and customers rather than just the customer's dollar. Employees need to be able to feel supported and confident that their company cares about them as an individual. Walmart says that it cares about the individual, but this is a blatant lie.
