I love what I do, but do not like who I do it for. I believe the founding principles of the company are what made it successful and all the changes are what is going to destroy it. I hope they reconsider and go back to what worked for so many years.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They seemed to value me and want me personally to work for the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers I interact with and a few employees who are pleasant and know how to work. Definitely NOT management
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Put employees first, over profit. Encorage, don't belittle. Pass along all communication in a timely manner. Be fair, minimize favoritism
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Know their position and consistently do the job they are hired for. The lack of this comes from low moral and inconsistency (both caused by management)), who are also this way)
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Corporate is out of touch with the employees and only looking to increase immediate profit. The cuts they are making, are making it harder to do our job effectively or efficiently, thus causing customers to start looking elsewhere and employees quitting.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
It is almost impossible for PT employees to get benefits. Don't expect less people to do more work as you continue to downsize staff but increase expected productivity. Accept that my doctor knows when it's safe for my body to be at work/home and take their letters as excused absence.
