I was treated horribly. Like I said: it's Walmart. What more can I say that hasn't been said by the thousands of others who have experienced this as well?
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Honestly, my coworkers are not the problem and I feel sorry for them, working in a place like this.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Where do I begin folks? Walmart is...well, it's Walmart. I don't see them improving, honestly, I don't. It's disorganized, ridiculous, unfair, unsanitary, unprofessional, irresponsible - shall I go on? Please, shop at WinCo instead.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything. I have never worked in a more disorganized, unprofessional environment. The cashiers are treated like cattle, you get points docked for everything, and no matter if you have a death in the family or the flu it doesn't matter - you're still obligated to come into work or you're fired.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I feel like a robot as soon as I put on that silly vest. I'm already treated with disrespect by the customers who harrass me on a daily basis and I have to smile through it, I shouldn't be treated the same by my employers. Just treat us like people. Not that hard.
