My experience has been a lot of ups and downs. I'm only 19 and this is my first job, I'm a department manager and only been with the company for 7 months. Not a lot of people have the same mentality as me and I feel underpaid but i get the work done regardless of what they expect of me.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Straight forward questions, nothing really confusing.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone gets along with each other, and everyone is all like a family.
What makes you most happy at work?
My friends and co-workers are the only reason I stick with this job. They make you feel like you're at home.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Stop being lazy. I wish they have a mentality like mine where they actually want to get work done. Walmart hires lazy elderly people and which they never get their work done while everyone is underpaid. I'm 19,and i make the LEAST out off all the dm in my store,and I know i work way harder than them
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like as a department manager and only making $12.50 an hour is a joke. I work so much overtime, just to cut it because they never want to pay it is pathetic. All the good associates are underpaid while the lazy one's are paid nice and don't do any work at all. I'm only 19 and regret this.
