I've worked for Walmart for several years so I've seen a lot of the changes. Some are good and some could be better. I think some of the changes they have made that could be better are on the right track but they just need to be improved.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
So far management have done a good job at backing up their associates.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They make changes to policies with out offering appropriate compensation. When they rolled out the new attendance policy they actually made it harder to earn certain paid time off. I would also like to see them bring back holiday pay.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
They need to offer full time positions. Also a more consistent schedule would be nice. It is really hard to close one night and then have to open the next day. Also allowing for a better way to earn time off.
