It's overall good. I do have days where I am dissatisfied, but that seems to go along with having just a bad day. I like knowing that it's secure, that things don't change radically without notice. I'm a creature of habit, so working at Walmart seems to work for me.

It's versatile. We're that place where everyone can fit.
What do you like best about your company?
They're everywhere. I could move almost anywhere in the world and keep my job.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Fair compensation based on actual work performance and attendance, not whether you're a warm body or not.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was kind of informal, as they were doing a mass hiring for opening a new location.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Most of them seem to remember what it's like to be an associate instead of a manager, which makes it so that they are more on an even level with us.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having a day where I don't have to pick up other employees' slack by reshelving products correctly in order to make room for what I have to stock. It's good when things go like clockwork.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
My coworkers need to figure out that we are there to provide a service in exchange for compensation, and that it is necessary to put forth some effort into something besides looking busy and listening to their earpods. We are not there to kill time, we are there to make a living.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I put a tremendous amount of effort into what I do, to do it well and efficiently. I also have logged 3 years of experience, yet I am being paid the same if not less than new hires that don't care at all about the quality of their work or their future with the company.
