
They need to take pride in their work, take initiative, work hard, be thorough and pay attention to detail.
No advancement opportunity for those with experience, education, motivation, initiative, pride and who work hard to do things right. Opportunity is used for recruitment but that is it.
Leadership on a store level needs to be more in tune with their employees and take advantage of employees who are experienced, educated, motivated and care. Executive leadership should stay out of politics and work on employee satisfaction.
I would feel better if Walmart gave raises in accordance with merit rather than attendance. People who had 4 attendance points didn't receive a cost of living wage of only 1 or 2% for the year. I've been there for 5 years and am only making .22 cents more than new hires.
