For the most part it's been terrible. Not enough employees for every dept. The scheduling is terrible. Managers and employees work selfishly. Fresh employees are constantly told to work in other areas that they aren't trained for nor hired for. Neighborhood Walmart employees need pay raises!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My work schedule, going home from work and my paycheck.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have a ton of experience in working in the Fresh departments in markets and I can do them all. I've trained new employees in the short about of time that I've been an employee and I'm constantly being told to work in other areas. Where's my pay increase?
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
For one, answer the phones then pass on whatever information to the HR Lead. Better and more incompetent HR Leads need to be hired. HR Leads shouldn't hire people based on their personal feeling's and/or attitudes. Replace old equipment that is used during the hiring process with new equipment.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some of my coworkers are very slow, lazy and incompetent. Instead of doing the things that they are trained to do, these idiots continue doing what they want to do. Bad attitudes and personal problems should be left at home. Store no. 3135 supervisor's need to be more hands on in training employees.
