We can make each other smile, giggle, can put a smile on a customers face, and brighten their day for a moment.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I can get a customer to talk, to smile, maybe laugh before they leave with their purchased merchandise. I love the customers!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
As front end cashier associates, if someone is having a bad day, customer or employee, we try to make it better. We work together, as a team, and share work details. Emptying garbage cans, recycle bin for bags, cleaning counters, and belts at registers, stock cigarettes,smokeless tobacco. Just help!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I get sick alot, and hr/people lead will say certain things, with the tone in her voice. Her presentation to me, makes me feel guilty about being sick, and I feel like I should apologize for my various medical conditions. At work, I honestly give 150% to my customers, always find something to do!!!
