Long term experience has been very positive. Most recent short term experience has shown a trend which seems to show more of a lack of wanting to promote from within. Instead mid-leadership is searching for outside candidates for management positions who undoubtedly are not n touch current culture
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Very good company, progressive and forward thinking. We need to make sure new middle managers not hired from within truly understand this company and the value of all its employees. Recent uncontrollable market conditions will & have already delayed previous progress and they need understand that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really feel as if we are all equally invested in seeing the success of the Healthcare division.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am super happy that Medela still offers employees a pension program. That is very rare in today's market.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happy knowing that I have a chance to make a difference both for my patients and for Medela.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I truly feel that any member of my sales team would not hesitate to step up and do what ever is or was needed to help advance the business opportunity.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very tuned in to giving us the tools we need to be successful and working hard to help us as a sales team spread the the same positive message,
What makes you most happy at work?
Again most recent time of CV19 excluded, I feel like we are being a disruptive technology with disruptive procurement options which can really help hospitals and help patients with a great cost effective forward thinking plan and product.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The upper Executive Healthcare Leadership team has been great in disseminating information, plans and educational resources to help deal with the recent adverse market conditions (CV19). I am also truly proud to work for a company that is progressive towards race relations and Black lives matter.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive about the culture is we are a solution and employee oriented and driven company. Medela has hired some great people who want to work and get results. The last 3 months have been very tough but people are still positive and moving forward.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have made great friends all over the country through connecting with coworkers and I know I could call 90-95% of them with a problem and they would drop what they are doing to help resolve an issue as I would and have done for them as well. Truly a solution oriented team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
On the HC side, we are still in the prod launch phase breaking into a est market with high cust loyalty. With CV19 we have been home based and truly unable to advance a system level sale. I appreciate being paid at 80% plan but it does not compare to previous guarantee & prev comp at old employers
