I used to be very happy here but recent experiences have opened my eyes to the fact that the company does not care to pay its employees properly and that it has not been transparent with everyone that salary increases can no longer be done unless the employee is promoted.

They should not go back on their word when things have been agreed and disclosed to the company especially regarding agreements with unions within the company. This shows a lack of respect for employees.

Because there is pay discrepancy across the company. One person doing a job in one department is paid significantly more than someone doing a similar or the same job but with management responsibilities in another department.

I am a manager of a team and yet single contributors in my same field in other parts of the company are being paid more than me. The company insists that it reviews salaries to make sure that they are still competitive but I have never seen any evidence of this making a difference.
