LexisNexis Legal & Professional Operations Department Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

Nurturing the mindset of adapting to change.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

They see and value me as a person, as well as the work I do.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Communication has been great. They have a good understanding of the work/life balance.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

They have an equal vested interest in the business and the empowerment of the employees. They foster a transparent culture, and constantly provide a clear, inspiring vision

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

I like that the leadership team is ambitious, open to change, and focused on moving the business forward. There is a clear drive to improve how we operate, and I feel trusted to shape solutions and make an impact in my area.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Recognize their trusted and talented employees and make sure to keep them in the company, rather than just look at the ROI of each team. Be able to recognize when a strategic decision is not right and change direction, especially when it comes to Product innovation.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

Reduce focus on cross-functional politics and optics at the executive level. Increase emphasis on empowering teams responsible for delivery. Shift effort away from high-level strategy discussions toward enabling tangible execution and outcomes.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

Retention and recognizing value. Record profits every year but most of us are struggling and getting promoted is unattainable. There is no incentive to do better for the company. Perks get taken away every day.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

Valuing employees. Treating employees like adults.

Review from Operations Dept

Really listening and valuing your employees. At the moment we feel invisible, unappreciated and not valued by our manager, and the leadership team. Actions speak louder than words, we tell you how we are feeling but nothing changes, except all the extra tasks we are now expected to do on top of BAU.

Review from Operations Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Retirement benefit and superannuation scheme.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

The best part of our compensation package is probably the thirteen month we get paid, part of the health insurance cost being covered and the additional holiday day after 5 or 10 years in the company.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

The bonus structure has been very fair.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

The additional recognition above your income and free access to learning and development opportunities.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Pension plan and my Bonus

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

I have been with LexisNexis for more than 10 years. During my first five years at the company, there were significantly more employee benefits. In particular within Sales, we used to have team events much more frequently. Unfortunately, these activities now take place far less often.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Workload and responsibilities have increased over time, but compensation has not kept pace.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

We do not get cost of living raises, we get merit raises and those are pretty much just for doing our job. I've been here for almost 20 years and I'm close to living pay check to pay check despite living rather frugally.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

Make us feel like we're important again and not easily replaced. Give us our perks back. Pay for the things you used to fund. I'm not spending the little money I have on work "activities". It used to be AWESOME to work here and now it's the same as any other company.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

Pay raises that at least keep up with inflation.

Review from Operations Dept

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

We have team members and peers who are genuinely invested in helping the organization to be successful.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

they can talk about things other than work, they have a great personality and a can do attitude

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

Best thing about our team is the collaborative atmosphere, team mates willing to help whenever they can.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

I can discuss my challenges and successes with them. I receive support at any time?

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

We all communicate very well and can be easily interchangeable with different projects.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Avoid interfering in matters that don't concern them.

Review from Operations Dept

My coworkers could improve by being more open to feedback and fostering better communication. By embracing constructive input and collaborating transparently, we can work more effectively as a team and achieve shared goals more successfully.

Review from Operations Dept

Be more sincere and really care about the well being of their coworkers

Review from Operations Dept

some forgets the "culture of compliance"

Review from Operations Dept

Collborate and create good ideas to imporeve process

Review from Operations Dept

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Celebrating people who go above and beyond.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

People seem to get along and look out for each other. People are always willing to lend a hand.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

The most positive is the fact that we can work from home several days a week.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

You are continually challenged and supported, which allows you to grow with your responsibilities.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Everyone seems to be highly knowledgeable and talented in their spaces.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

not all of us are interested with social activities. it would be very helpful if there would be more technical trainings as well as some of us value learning than socialization.

Review from Operations Dept

Forcing people to pass new projects every quarter and frequently asking for updates when most of the already submitted projects are not moving due to lack of developers. Pay your people fairly if they do dev tasks on top of their production tasks.

Review from Operations Dept

Top management is truly awful. They do not care one bit about employees. They say they are listening but sometimes one has to act on what they are being told to display this. Working with rather than against people would be a start

Review from Operations Dept

There needs to be balance and a recognition that an individual disgruntled employee can currently derail progress in change management and negatively impact the working environment for the entire team. Disruptive behavior needs to be managed and front line managers supported in those efforts.

Review from Operations Dept

Greater accountability and more team focused work activities.

Review from Operations Dept

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Interviewer provided prompts and allowed for followup if the interviewee was stuck on a particular questions.

Review from Operations Dept

Different styles and situational questions that make you think hard based on personal experiences.

Review from Operations Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

STREAMLINE. There is no bank of candidates that the whole company seems to pull from, you just apply for one job and if you don't get it then you have to re-apply instead of being passed to a different group. There is also NO FOLLOW UP if you do not pass the interview. That leaves a bad impression.

Review from Operations Dept

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

Positive interactions with peers and colleagues about how we can work together in winning.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

Feeling useful, using my knowledge and skills, being listened to

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

My work and my colleagues.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Positive end-user experiences via the processes we've rolled out.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

Exposure to new things, that it forces me to grow and stay current, team interactions

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 19 days ago

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

I don't feel my work is being recognized as it should; I don't feel valued by my managers. I'm doing some tasks that I'm not supposed to do.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 18 days ago

Too much focus on optics and alignment, with a more hierarchical model, added layers, and too many decision-makers. This slows decisions and reduces efficiency. Simplifying structure, clarifying ownership, and empowering teams would improve speed and execution.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

so difficult to get an update from other departments which is highly affecting our capability in accomplishing our tasks. so many changes with the processes and tools and yet we don't even receive proper training nor enough time to learn before new changes goes live

Review from Operations Dept

Too much workload. There are days where I am doing 4 processes and I'm only a single employee. The kind of workload that is should be covered by at least 2 people and the compensation for all 4 are not enough. Rendering overtime will never be the solution.

Review from Operations Dept

It's not that anything is necessarily going wrong. Work is work, it's not my entire life.
