They really have been nothing but supportive of me since I was hired on. I've been lucky to be on great teams and all but one time have had fantastic managers. I have known people with the company but not near my department who have had very different experiences so I count myself lucky.

Everyone has each others backs. We have a good time when we're together, be it in a meeting or socially.

We are trusted, at least in my experience. We're treated like adults, not children who have to be forced to be held accountable.

We do not get cost of living raises, we get merit raises and those are pretty much just for doing our job. I've been here for almost 20 years and I'm close to living pay check to pay check despite living rather frugally.
