I've been lucky enough to work with great teams and supportive/capable managers, which has made my experience positive on a daily basis and in terms of my career over the years. Unfortunately, I don't think this is consistent across the company, because many don't have that same foundation.

Over the past year, they've shown a willingness to adapt to the COVID situation (e.g., work from home policies) despite previous convictions that it would lead to a decrease in performance.

At least over the past year, they seem to have opened their eyes to reality and stood up for employees a lot more than in the past. Hopefully this will continue.

Over the past year, support of employees during a difficult time and finding ways to ensure we have what we need to succeed -- as a group and as individuals -- and be comfortable being ourselves.

There's a big difference between culture/environment at team level vs. company level. Team is great. Company is often stale, bureaucratic, tone deaf, inhuman. Response to COVID-19 has been very good, though: Company has been transparent, empathetic, open to change, and focused on maintaining jobs.
