For all the managers to agree on policies and procedures. Also, there are more managers than employees so, you always have several managers giving you tasks at the same time.
The manager that interviewed me was friendly, forward and did not want to hear all the things you are taught to say in an interview. It was more like a conversation.
I work as a cashier and I absolutely love working with the public. I try to make them happy and hope they leave with a smile. This is the best part of my job.
Like myself, most of my teammates dislike the company and the way they are treated, and therefore just want to do their job and go home. We have nothing to be happy about, except that we have a job.
Following labor laws (As for myself, they have broken at least 5 different labor laws), food safety regulations (if it can be done faster and cheaper by "bending" rules, they will) and showing care and respect to their employees. Profit is not only the top priority, but their only priority.
We do what we can to make our environment happy. Most of us love our customers, and I actually love the job I do. I just don't want to do it here. Also, our environment is usually very unsafe, and so we are never very comfortable. I would say there is an air of "anxiety, frustration and fear".
