I am a big fan of the culture and I don't mind hard work. I think too many people are being hired but the attrition is high. Better people could be attracted and kept with better wages even if they automate more, which I suspect they will.

We have a great scheduler, morale boosters, great corporate backup, but too many unscheduled meetings that seem gossip-laden.

I was worried about being homeschooled and having some of my college credits not transferable when my college changed names. My manager contacted previous employers and brought me on at a wage comensurate with my experience.

I like the American corporate model, even if it is losing popularity with people my age. I like the diversity and am learning Spanish to be more valuable to McDonald's. My managers are very helpful in teaching me.

McDonald's expects most employees to have two jobs. That mentality is one reason turnover is so bad. I think they could hire fewer people and raise compensation to reduce their labor costs. It could increase pride and performance, too, It would help McDonald's image to be more selective when hiring

I like doing my job well. I like learning new skills and it is especially fun to come in with the drive through swamped and work it down in a few minutes. The very best part is some of the customer interactions and if those aren't so great, my manager has my back..

They are flexible active listeners who care about you and award available hours based on merit, There is high turnover so the most time is invested in the crewmembers who make a career of it. They expect a lot, but the rewards are good if you stay with it. I AM tired of the stereotypes.
