I used to love working here, and then We changed Vice Presidents, and it basically ruined working for this company. Ever since that day, it has been like walking into hell, but you're at work. Just seems like its all a joke to them. YESSS the company is failing, but lets install more cornhole boards
Lowest insurance ive ever paid.
Why should there be cultural influences at my job? Does that help production? Nope. Stop hiring thugs, and stop promoting people who are all "talk".
If we focused on working harder, instead of cultural appropriation, then maybe this company would be in better shape! Cornhole boards, foosball, they only seem to benefit the people who dont work much as it is. You should have gave merit based raises instead.
Communication, and not brushing off the guys at the bottom. Sometimes we can invest more in the company than the executives making the decisions. Higher ups need to be more hands on instead of in the office calling shots blindly to properly fix issues.
There's constantly some drama going on. Machines needed for production are always broken, but executives are worried about Cornhole tournaments. There's no consistency, ever. Barely any structure at all. HR department is the biggest joke, and they don't care what their employees want at all.
Absolutely nothing... I used to love Hoshizaki, and i still do. Like its my second home. This past year has been the most hostile and unorganized work environment i have ever worked at. Thugs and Gangsters, have taken over hoshizaki, and the quality of our work shows
Not scheduling people to work on holidays regardless of which shift they're on. Just because we get off the morning of thanksgiving, doesn't mean we have thanksgiving off when we have to sleep half the holiday. So thanks AGAIN Hoshizaki, for catering to your HR department instead of your workers :)
Not relying heavily on their top performer. Management sees it as a scape goat if all their other employees dont work, atleast their top performer will still get the job done. Favortism has ran rampant in Hoshizaki for years, and alot of hard workers quit because we get overworked with no incentive
Working in general. Dont hire thugs off the street with no manners or respect. More in depth interview process leads to better quality of employees. Hire for teamwork above all else, if they dont look like they would be a good team player, then pass. We dont want to work with gangsters, LITERALLY.
More supervision. Terrible to say because were all adults, but most of them act like Hoshizaki is jyst the place to come for a free check. Our supervisor lets people of color sit at the desk beside them all day cutting up and laughing; meanwhile their hardest worker is about to quit from saving them
If everyone was held to the SAME standard. Someone can laugh and cut up with the boss all day, and not get in trouble because they have become friends; meanwhile their hardest worker is doing all their work while getting compensated the same as the guy who did nothing all day. DISCIPLINE.
Less hostile work environment. When need to be heard, the people who actually care about this business are looked over by poor management and favoritism. Stop hiring toxic people. It shouldnt take months for HR to fire someone for not doing their job, while the hard workers watch them and get paid
I seem to be the only one who wants my department to succeed and get out of the slump were in. Everytime i correct something in the department, it gets reverted because jo one else is putting in the same effort. Now im on third shift, and its worse because im cleaning up first shifts mess.
