Like anywhere we face challenges, but our leadership team has done a good job of getting us through the rough times. They are working to improve the lines to prevent injures and increase efficiency and productivity. They are recognizing our needs and working to the correct issues.
The incentives that we receive
Communication and listening to ways to better improve employee retention
We are experiencing poor work ethics and lack of team work
No matter what challenges we face, we get through it and get the job done.
I am seeing a lot of promoting from within. People are excited about the opportunities that are becoming available to them.
I am seeing that they are trying to connect more with the people and moving away from an us vs. them mindset.
Knowing that what I do makes a difference in the lives of our customers and their customers. Especially in the hospitals and restaurants that we serve.
The pay we receive is way behind other employers. Our raises are very small and does not take into account the cost of living and the prices of everyday things such as food, housing and groceries.
Moral is low because people feel overworked and underpaid. Management never tries to communicate with employees. I only see executive management when we have the yearly company meetings and the management team will wak the floor often and never even speak to employees.
My feelings are based on industry standards and comparable pay with surrounding businesses. We have had record breaking years coming out of the pandemic and I feel that as the company continues to profit, those profits should also be reinvested in the employees as well. Not just one-time incentives.
