What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
DEI!!!! I absolutely am so proud of the stance LexisNexis has taken to foster an inclusive environment and our employee resource groups. It's easy to get our teams involved and we all get along really well. It's clear that we hire great people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is fun to be around. There is always something to bond over and I think we have a great collaboration overall. I'm friends with many of them inside and out of work. I value their knowledge and mentorship. We foster a growth mindset with one another.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with my friends and the positive culture we've created. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better segment. The higher ups are really easy to communicate with. I love my VPs and they've done a lot to help us feel valued. I really enjoy sum/fall/wint/fest, PRIDE, and Women's connected
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Overall I do believe that our voices are being heard. I feel that there has been a lot of increased pressure to perform and not enough reward for such but at the end of the day I'm grateful to work for an organization that ultimately cares. Especially about DEI efforts.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We find that over the years that the general variable compensation to goals have not been proportionate to the level of work, and effort put into our roles. Where once we were upwards of 10 cents on the dollar we are down to 2 cents. I'm grateful for the culture, and insurance packages at Lexis.
