I really value the flexibility and autonomy of the role setup, where I am treated like an adult who is responsible for overseeing their own responsibilities without being micromanaged. I do feel that we have far too many extraneous products + teams that overlap though. And KPOs are not role-unique
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are expanding to have the coverage needed to properly perform to the KPOs
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how my manager allows for me to undertake new projects which expose me to learning new skills & work with new teams in the business
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have the ability to freely be ourselves without judgement. This is one of a few roles I have had where I can be authentically myself and my manager not only accepts this, but makes me feel important and valued because of it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my role has massive responsibilities and our KPO's are not reflective of or skills or roles within the company. I also think we are continuously overlooked as a department by the greater business when the customer base often refers to us as one of the biggest assets
What makes you most happy at work?
The work that occurs outside of my role, when I am drawn into new projects and opportunities. My role can be very repetitive and there are parts of it that I do not enjoy at all, so having the chance to do something new and impactful is a good balance.
