After 6 years here, I have seen some of the best people and worst people, and it shocks me how many of the worst people find ways to succeed and move up while the best are not recognized. I think this particularly negatively affects women who are less showy in their work and achievements.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I enjoyed the casual third round interview speaking with leaders in the firm.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Experienced hires are brought in at higher rates and people who have been at the company and moved up quickly do not see their compensation rise at the same rate.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There has been a sharp drop-off in the quality of team members recently. People are disengaged, not team-oriented and not delivering high quality. It leaves those of us who care about those things to have to work ten times harder to deliver a quality product to our clients.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Low achievers are allowed to continue within the company, simply at other projects. We need to be more selective and cut throat in weeding out dead weight and recognizing high performers and deliverers. At the same time, we need to have leaders care about people and staffing that is more personal
