
Senior leadership at the C-Level and Below need to be on top of changes, quality, and customer satisfaction. Until that happens customers will be disappointed.
Have energy and be proud of what they are making. That energy will move onto the devs, product, sales teams and encourage them to do the same.
If teams are held accountable then accountability needs to work both ways. If the team delivers something exceptional then they should be treated exceptionally and rewarded as such.
For developers there needs to be more ways of compensation. There are no spot bonuses. You only get adjustments once per year. A few (2-3) devs are awarded bonus stock based on being the dev of year. Outside of these two adjustments there is very little incentive and opportunity for compensation.
