What are some of the best things about your team?
The talent level at Esri is incredible. As with any place, there are a few slackers, but the overall talent level is incredible and they are really nice people too!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The culture they have created is one where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities and we rally around each other to fix problems. We don't beat each other up when mistakes happen.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy interacting with my coworkers. We have a hybrid schedule which is great. I don't have to commute every day, but I also get time in the office for a change of pace and to see workers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Because we are privately owned, we don't have to answer to the whims of the stock market. As a result, we remain steadfastly focused on the success of our customers. This is the only appropriate course for long-term health, but publicly traded companies don't have the luxury of strategic focus.
