Knowing that my team are doing fulfilling work, are supported by their management, and are valued by their colleagues.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our shared mission to do good in the world and save the earth. We want to do right by our customers and go the extra mile.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My division's leadership team cares about me as a person, besides the value that I give to Esri. They also care about my professional development and the opinions that I give to them as a part of my job. They also think strategically and communicate priorities to the division clearly and often.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Esri compares my compensation to those who perform my role outside of this company, rather than the value that my team and I contribute to the company. I feel underpaid compared to people within this company that perform a similar role but have a different title or are in a different division.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team genuinely likes each other. They strive to give their best every day and they go above and beyond what is expected for this role. They don't say "that's not my job" if they need to do something. They are passionate about their work and the ability for Esri to do good. They're all so nice!
