I've been with Esri 5 years now, which is the most time I've spent with a company. It's an exciting and positive place to work, and I've been able to grow my career and strengths here. I enjoy being part of the company's larger mission and seeing the real-world results.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership is very approachable and open to feedback. They have a positive attitude and care about their employees. They recognize contributions and are flexible with employees' needs.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team makes me happy, as well as talking to excited candidates who want to work at Esri. I also like seeing and celebrating my teams' successes and seeing them evolve in their work and accomplish their goals.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is positive and everyone gets along well. They are funny and easy to talk to, and I enjoy working with them. I feel like some of them are 'work friends' that I'd want to stay in touch with should one of us leave Esri.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is very focused on the community and the world, and treating each other with kindness and respect. We also respect boundaries and employees' personal time, as well as time zones. People are given grace and flexibility to get their work done timely, but there's no 'by end of day' urgency.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Love the 100% benefits coverage and that I don't pay anything out of pocket for my healthcare. The 401K with 3% match and profit sharing is also great for my investments. I love the flexibility I have in my work hours. For example, I can work longer hours one day and take off earlier the next.
