It is work I enjoy, a lot of pressure at times, a lot of criticism at times. First starting off it was difficult because I was not treated very kindly at the same time it is a dream come true to join Esri which kept me here. It has improved quite a bit over the years
What do you like best about the leadership team?
little or no political discussions, approachable, strategic
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We work hard, and often, relative to other large companies we do not make as much and get less time off.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We finish our business, we do it skillfully, quickly and it shows. For the number of staff, we have relative to our annual earnings... we outwork the competition.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They know what they are talking about, in a variety of domains. The quality of work is always excellent nothing less than excellent is acceptable. As a group we enforce excellence, reviewing each other's work and ensuring everything checks out without mistake.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like helping customers get what they are entitled to, and also like having the space to bury my head into specialized area of work and just run free. We work fast, what my team does would easily take a customer team a year +/-, we do many 10+.
