Health insurance because we live in a deeply flawed, horrific system where that is somehow on the employer and not the government.
We have the same goals, similar philosophies toward work and life, and mutual professional respect, as well as expertise that complements each other's skills.
Solid values rooted in the benefit of living creatures first, whether the users changing the world, the cities we're in, or the human societies and far beyond into all of the planet's ecosystems.
The elements of my job that allow for me to do my work as an independent, mature, adult, expert in my field give me professional satisfaction and passion for my duties. The elements that limit us, patronize us, surveil us, and ignore our needs/input/proven results make me frustrated and disengaged.
The times when we lean into our impact, mission, and confidence are the reasons we flourish. When we trust each other. The times when we say "that's just the way things are," think as a corporate entity, or get tangled in monitoring and micromanagement are when we see conflict, insecurity, and ego.
