The compensation is significantly below market standards and does not provide a livable wage. It's concerning that some sellers, despite earning over $200k, appear to contribute little in terms of sales, while the rest of the team struggles to cover basic living expenses and works overtime.

Competitively the compensation is lacking when looking at other roles in the industry. Other benefits are lacking for remote work (ex: stipend for at home office supplies).

I feel that initially 50% of the company wanted to stay in office (vs not being remote), so I think it would be nice for those people to have the option to have a we work membership (or something similar) to be able to have the option to work in person and be more productive.

Our company culture is like a big family, but not in a toxic way at all. Some companies preach having a family culture, but then they abuse that culture to overwork or under-compensate their employees. IZEA simply treats everyone like family, everyone is nice and cares about each other.

Compensation is one of our most significant challenges, Leadership, particularly in sales, lacks a clear understanding of how this works making it difficult for them to effectively guide their teams. Furthermore, there appears to be no opportunities for growth within the company.
