LegalZoom is constantly changing. From the products being sold, to the way we operate, even our own operating values. I like change as it keeps things interesting on a day-to-day level. But sometimes it is hard to be a passenger on a plane constantly being fixed mid flight.

I think the CEO and similar role management are very disconnected with how the average employee feels about the compensation and the prizes/awards that are given. We don't want peloton bikes. We want better HOURLY pay, not different bonus structure.

Personally; Great. Career; it was the greatest learning experience of my life. Financially; disappointing. im only paid enough to make sure i come back. but not enough to grow on my own. after 14 years , Same apartment, still check to check and i'm an award winning zoomer . 75k & up is needed

LegalZoom Leadership has displayed a pattern of hiring outside the company for key roles. It seems Leadership prefers that you have a background that includes working for Amazon, as opposed to actual understanding of LegalZoom's products, practices, and processes.

Employee wages do not reflect the current market & are not competitive enough to retain talent. Current Leadership shows a fundamental lack of understanding related to the products LegalZoom offers & processes necessary to create them. Compliance, fee management, and product quality suffer from this

LegalZoom uses a cost of labor analysis when determining compensation, not a cost of living. This makes partial sense, after all, LegalZoom is a "remote-first" company. Cost of labor as a model works for WFH employees; LegalZoom neglects essential, on-site employees where cost of living matters.

A better hourly wage would make me feel better. We got raises based off performance but for me was less than $.12 an hour added but that didn't make sense since I had gotten bonuses for almost all months the year prior, seems like the only increases were for higher ups or for write offs.

Alot of out perks are not used by me because im single and lz is spending 20k approximately on it. id rather have that 20k in my pocket and go get my own perks. teledoc is the only thing i use, the rest is unused . lastly our raise is always only 2-3% when inflation is like 6% im losing money

Rate of pay is severely non competitive. LegalZoom is taking advantage of employee loyalty. More promotions, specifically cycles of promotions. In a period of such traumatic and dramatic inflation, leadership was non existent here. Pay for performance culture does not make up for systemic changes!

working from home is a god send. i an artist in my free time. so working in IP is like a kid being sent to work in a candy store as i get paid to look at all forms of art all day long and learn the legality of it. Also the LZ university training may be the greatest perk LZ has, i am addicted to it
