The people are amazing. That said, I am not sure I believe in Senior Leadership. The integration of recent acquisitions has been terrible. Hard decisions that should have been made from the top down haven't been made. Just because we make our #'s doesn't mean things aren't significantly broken.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership definitely treats employees like people and seem to generally care about them as a person. It seems they want the best for their employees, even when it doesn't seem like the company does
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. The people here are great people and care for each other. They want to see people succeed. There are bigger problems company wise regarding culture and the environment that need to be addressed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The culture the team has created. Comradery, a family atmosphere and a genuine caring for each other. This is my direct team. for the broader team, everyone treats everyone with respect and seems to care for others personally.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my team. We have built the best team in the company and being around the team energizes me. I have considered leaving the company multiple times, however, my team and my employees are what keeps me here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been underpaid for a number of years. I've had an employee rating of "exceeds all objectives" for 6 years straight. I have never received a raise for that performance. As a Director, I have employees, including managers, paid more than I do. What does a person have to do to get a raise?
