What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Diversity and inclusion, opportunity for charity, and psychological safety.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Matching market rates; Comparably's salary estimates for this position (AT RELX) exceed my actual pay by over 35%.

What makes you most happy at work?

Writing robust software in collaboration with team members. Useful interaction with teammates. Feeling like I'm making contributions that really matter.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Most everyone working for our director is typically willing to help out when a problem arises, or schedule time to do so. Most coworkers are very competent and appear more objective than political when it comes to delivering solutions.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Even the Comparably site agrees that I am getting heavily underpaid, according to the salary estimates. I want to feel like I'm at least getting near market rates rather than being in the bottom 5-10% everywhere I look. Make promotions easier earlier on, especially after major milestone completions.
