Passing on some knowledge and experience to colleagues at an earlier stage of their careers, using it to coach, and then seeing them grow.

It is bigger than anyone reporting in to me. Unfortunately, some of my line reports have had to swallow hiring people at higher levels than their own salaries, reflecting market reality.
