The role requires a person with knowledge in many different verticals and ability to communicate with key leaders. Not everyone can do that.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've worked for many companies and the level of competence needed to do this job and the stress level to perform at peak level at all times, makes it a higher paying job. I've worked in staffing and the guide used to classify this role is not represented by the job description.
