LexisNexis Risk Solutions – There has been lots of upskilling as I (a data analyst ) have had to fill knowledge gaps in strategy, commercialisation, engineering and team management. I like learning so I've enjoyed it, but it would be better to expand the team or be promoted to team lead, but LNRS are slow to approve these. | Comparably

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Mismanaged expectations around growth opportunities and responsibilities of the role. On a small scale, I feel invested in by my manager and leadership team, but it doesn't feel like they have much authority on promotions and raises so large scale it feels very out of sight and transactional.

What makes you most happy at work?

Leadership opportunities and delivering on what we've committed.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are approachable and visible

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They are nice and approachable

What are some of the best things about your team?

Really fun, friendly, kind, committed, smart, ambitious and self-starters.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The people are social, leadership is transparent, there are snacks

What makes you most happy at work?

The people and when I have new things to work on

What are some of the best things about your team?

Autonomy to create our own roadmap with support available from leadership. The trust and confidence the rest of the business has in us.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's a culture of "fail fast" and "work smarter not harder", so we achieve a lot and the effort feels distributed across everyone.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

From my understanding, my compensation package is mostly perks at work and health insurance, so perhaps I'm not aware of the whole package. But I would answer health insurance.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am paid well for the job I officially have, but not the role I actually do. With no promotions or FTE contracts starting in 2023, we are covering wider remits and have more responsibilities and expectations without the appropriate compensation.
