Those that are willing to stick around despite such low pay are stellar employees with enormous amounts of patience. Pay them what they deserve!
Same as every other comment I've written, I would be much more motivated to work productively if I were payed what I'm worth and what my work is worth!
I said so in the previous comment, but when the company is making record profits there is no reason to be so stingy with employee compensation. Pay people more than what they are worth so they will be incentivised to stay!
Higher management needs to realise that there can be no culture if the people are underpaid and leave constantly! Middle management needs to be seen more often, not just by being present, but taking an active role in shaping the output of employees.
First of all would be to provide better pay rises for loyal employees, it is a slap in the face to receive such a low % increase on the year when the company is making record profits. Until retaining talent becomes a top priority, the company will continue seeing high turnover rates.
