Frustrating. I enjoy my field and I previously enjoyed my job. Now it's non-stop political battles.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Positives are becoming fewer and further between

What makes you most happy at work?

The ability to have an impact on the business.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leadership team genuinely cares about employees and their well-being.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

LexisNexis is a culture of innovation, sometimes too fast and not fully vetted.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team is motivated to do what's right for our business and our Clients.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Matching words to actions. "Investing in employees" is meaningless if we don't do it.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation is not inline with external comps. This makes it extremely difficult to attract and retain talent, not to mention undervalues existing staff.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Poor management. Redundant roles causing confusion. A refusal to properly staff to support / generate growth. Inconsistent standards for adding staff.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

A sense of partnership and collaboration. LN has become very back-stabby after the recent acquisitions. Everyone is eager to make a name for themselves at any cost. Backchannel communications are the norm.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

It's difficult to hire because we don't pay market rates. I manage people who make more than I do. Staffing and workload are not balanced. It shouldn't be a "luxury" to be able to perform to the best of my ability.
